05 — How it's made
Fourteen hands. Fifteen days. One rug.
A single 5 × 8 rug passes through seven pairs of hands over about fifteen days. It begins as raw New Zealand or Indian wool, hand-dyed to your palette and tufted onto a stretched frame in our Bhadohi workshop.
Then it is carved, washed, dried in the sun, bound and finished by hand. For us every rug is more than a product — it is a piece of craftsmanship, a reflection of tradition, and a quiet expression of personal style.

Any size up to 9 × 13 ft and beyond, any shape — round, oval, runner, organic — and any colour matched to your fabric, paint chip or Pinterest board. Digital proof first, production after you approve.

Shipping is free worldwide and we pay all customs and import duties ourselves. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay — nothing is collected at your door.
How long until my rug arrives?
In-stock rugs ship within 2–3 weeks. Made-to-order and custom pieces take 3–4 weeks to tuft and finish, plus transit. A 5 × 8 rug takes about 15 days of work by 7 artisans.
Can you make my exact size, shape or colour?
Yes. Any size, any shape — rectangular, round, square, runner or fully organic — and any palette. Send a photo, sketch or Pinterest board and we will send a digital proof before production starts.
What are the rugs made of?
100% New Zealand or Indian wool, hand-tufted into a 10–12 mm dense cut pile on a cotton canvas backing, with hand-finished edges.
How do I care for a hand-tufted wool rug?
Vacuum without a beater bar, rotate every few months, blot spills immediately and have it professionally cleaned every 12–18 months. Wool is naturally stain-resistant and hard-wearing.
