This muted olive antique heriz rug is intentionally soft in contrast, built for rooms where color should feel settled rather than sharp. A sage-olive field carries a faint stepped medallion flanked by two side diamonds, all washed into closely related tones. The ivory border lifts the perimeter without interrupting the calm. Its tonal pattern works well with natural woods, cream upholstery, and textured bedding, where a quieter rug can add age and depth without taking over the whole room.

Hand-Knotted Construction

Made in Bhadohi, India, the carpet weaving capital of the world, this muted olive antique heriz rug is hand-knotted one knot at a time on a loom by artisan weavers. Its cotton foundation supports a 100% wool pile made from hand-spun wool yarn. The completed rug is hand-washed and finished. Each rug is knotted at a density of 25 to 35 knots per square inch and finished to a 0.5 inch pile, giving a substantial, hard-wearing surface that holds its detail underfoot.

Sizes and Shapes

Choose from 45 sizes across four shapes: rectangular rugs from 4x6 to 9x14, runners from 2'6x6 to 3x14, plus round and square rugs from 4 to 9 feet. An 8x10 suits most living rooms when the sofa front legs rest on the rug. A 5x8 can define the lower half of a queen bed, while a 9x12 anchors open-plan seating.

Made to Order

Your rug is made to order and knotted only after the order is placed, not mass produced. That process makes room for the small shifts in line, color, and finish that distinguish handmade work. Those variations are part of the rug’s individual character and reflect the handwork in every piece.

Care

  • Lift dust with a vacuum used without a beater bar.
  • Blot any spill instead of rubbing it into the wool.
  • Plan professional cleaning as needed and rotate the rug every 6-12 months.
  • A rug pad adds cushioning and helps hold the rug in place.

Please be aware that import and customs duties, imposed by local authorities, are beyond our control and are not included in your order total. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid directly to the shipping company or customs office upon delivery.

Return Policy

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it,  unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact us at glaringrugs@gmail.com. Please note that returns address will be provide once the return is approved. 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Customer is liable to pay for return shipping and 20% restocking fee will be charged.
