What to know

Construction Hand-Knotted
Color Green
Material Wool
Style Traditional

Nothing in this collection reads like this chartreuse tree of life rug. Its bright lime-chartreuse field is arranged in vertical bands of stylized cypress trees, tiny birds, and animals in blue, red, and yellow. A bold cobalt-blue border, punctuated with red blocks, intensifies the folk and tribal character. This is the piece to choose when the floor should become part of the room’s conversation. It can energize a sunroom, creative workspace, or eclectic entry with an unmistakably graphic point of view.

Hand-Knotted Construction

Artisan weavers hand-knot this chartreuse tree of life rug one knot at a time on a loom in Bhadohi, India, the carpet weaving capital of the world. Hand-spun wool yarn forms its 100% wool pile over a cotton foundation. Every piece is hand-washed and finished before it is sent onward. Each rug is knotted at a density of 25 to 35 knots per square inch and finished to a 0.5 inch pile, giving a substantial, hard-wearing surface that holds its detail underfoot.
